Chats, memories and settings are stored on your device, encrypted with a key held in your device's keychain. They are never transmitted to us.
Locaz has no account, no server and no analytics. There is no data for us to collect, because nothing is sent to us.
Nothing. We operate no servers that receive your data, and the app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.

When you choose to download a model, the request goes directly from your device to that model's host, such as Hugging Face. We are not involved and receive nothing.
If you add a remote provider yourself, requests go from your device to that provider under their terms. Locaz shows what would be sent and asks first. Your key is kept in the keychain.
If you turn on sync, your data goes to your own iCloud account, encrypted end to end. We have no access to it.
Used only when you start dictation or voice mode. Speech is transcribed on your device. Audio is never uploaded or stored.
Used only for features you turn on: the optional local API server, which accepts connections from your own device only, and optional pairing with your other devices.
Everything Locaz stores is visible and deletable inside the app. Settings, Storage and data will delete individual chats, everything Locaz remembers, or all of it at once. Deleting the app removes everything it held.
Turning on Offline Lock refuses every network request rather than queueing it, including downloads, providers and sync.
