Locaz runs on your hardware. We operate no servers that your data reaches, so there is nothing for us to suspend, terminate or hand over. If we disappeared tomorrow, your copy would keep working.
Locaz is software you run on your own device. There is no service behind it, no account, and nothing of yours passes through us.
Use Locaz legally. Check what the models tell you before you rely on it. Models and providers you add come with their own terms, not ours. The software is given as it is, with no warranty.

Models generate text by prediction, not by knowing. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Check anything that matters before you act on it, and do not use Locaz alone for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
Models you download come from third parties and carry their own licences, which Locaz shows you before the download starts. Some restrict commercial use or redistribution. Those terms are between you and whoever published the model.
If you connect a remote provider with your own key, your requests go to them under their terms and their privacy policy. Locaz shows you what would be sent and asks first, but it is your account and your agreement with them.
Use Locaz within the law where you are. What you generate with it is yours, and so is the responsibility for what you do with it.
Locaz is licensed to you, not sold. The name, the app and the source remain ours. Downloading a build does not grant a right to redistribute or resell it.
Locaz is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free or suited to what you want from it.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or damage arising from using or being unable to use Locaz. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as they legally can.
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use Locaz after that means the new version applies.
